Privacy Policy

We process personal data (hereinafter "data") only to the extent necessary to provide a functional and user-friendly website, including its content and services.

According to Art. 4 No. 1 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, "GDPR"), "processing" means any operation performed on personal data, with or without automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, storage, adaptation, retrieval, use, disclosure, restriction, erasure or destruction.

This privacy policy informs you about the type, scope, purpose, duration and legal basis of the processing of personal data on UX-Sound.com. It is structured as follows: I. Information about us as controller, II. Rights of users and data subjects, III. Information on data processing.

II. Rights of users and data subjects

With regard to the data processing described below, users and data subjects have the right

  • to confirmation as to whether data concerning them is being processed, to information about this data, to further information about the processing and to copies of the data (Art. 15 GDPR);
  • to rectification or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR);
  • to the immediate erasure of their data (Art. 17 GDPR) or, where further processing is required under Art. 17(3) GDPR, to restriction of processing in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR;
  • to receive the data they have provided and to have it transmitted to other controllers (Art. 20 GDPR);
  • to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if they believe their data is being processed in breach of data protection law (Art. 77 GDPR).

We are obliged to inform all recipients to whom data has been disclosed of any rectification, erasure or restriction of processing under Art. 16, 17(1) and 18 GDPR, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort. Users have the right to be informed about these recipients.

Under Art. 21 GDPR, users also have the right to object to the future processing of their data where it is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. In particular, an objection to processing for direct marketing purposes is permitted.

III. Information on data processing

Data processed when using our website is deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to apply, no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion and no other information is given below for individual processing procedures.

Server data

For technical reasons, in particular to ensure a secure and stable website, your browser transmits data to us or our hosting provider (server log files). This includes the type and version of your browser, the operating system, the referring website, the pages visited, the date and time of access and the IP address of the requesting connection.

This data is stored temporarily and not together with other data about you. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in improving the stability, functionality and security of our website. The data is deleted after seven days at the latest, unless further storage is required for evidence purposes.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies and does not use any tracking or analytics tools. No personal data is stored on your device by this website, and no consent banner is therefore required.

Contact and project inquiries

If you contact us by email or by phone, or use the project inquiry form, we process the information you provide (such as name, work email, company, product, target markets, timeline and project description) to handle your inquiry. The inquiry form does not store data on our website; it prepares an email in your own email program, which you then send to us.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your inquiry relates to a potential contract, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR otherwise; our legitimate interest lies in responding to inquiries. We delete the data once your inquiry has been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Fonts

All fonts used on this website are hosted locally on our own servers. No connection is made to external font services (such as Google Fonts), and no data is transmitted to third parties for the display of fonts.

Videos and sound examples

Videos and sound examples on this website are delivered via a content delivery network. When they are loaded, technically necessary connection data such as your IP address is processed. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in fast and reliable delivery of media content.
